Ibiza has become one of the Mediterranean's great wedding destinations. Every season, couples from the UK and across Europe choose the island for its light, its sunsets over the sea and a collection of private villas, agroturismo estates and beach clubs found nowhere else. Choosing the venue is the first big decision — the one that sets the tone for everything that follows. This guide brings together some of the best-known venues for a wedding in Ibiza, with what's worth knowing about each before you book.
At Maison Photobooth we work across the whole island and in Formentera, so we know these venues first-hand: their access, their light at sunset and their set-up rules. What follows is an honest guide, not a ranking. The best venue is the one that suits your style, your guest numbers and the experience you want to give.
If the venue is already booked, the hire is the wedding photo booth in Ibiza.
Beach clubs with the sea as a backdrop
Cotton Beach Club · Cala Tarida, Sant Josep
White terraces stepping down to the bay and the kind of sunsets that define the luxury Ibiza wedding. Cotton is a classic for high-end celebrations on the west coast, with five-star service and a setting that calls for a discreet, considered set-up. Ideal for couples who want the sunset to take centre stage.
Nikki Beach Ibiza · Santa Eulària des Riu
On the east coast, right by the beach, Nikki Beach offers an instantly recognisable look and a stylish party atmosphere. It works especially well for weddings with lots of international guests looking for sun, sea and a celebration that keeps its energy into the night.
Amante Ibiza · Sol d'en Serra, Santa Eulària
One of the most photographed settings on the island: a cliff-top restaurant and beach club with the sea as its only backdrop. Perfect for intimate, sophisticated wedding dinners where the view does almost all the work.
Villas and agroturismo estates with character
Petunia Ibiza · Cala Carbó, west coast
A boutique hotel among the pines with views of Es Vedrà. Petunia is the choice for the most intimate, detail-driven weddings, where every corner is considered. Its private feel makes it ideal for smaller celebrations with an exceptional level of care.
Aiyanna Ibiza · Cala Nova, Santa Eulària
Bohemian, refined styling by the beach, with that mix of relaxation and elegance that is so Ibiza. A venue where an open-air booth with a linen or fresh-flower backdrop feels completely at home.
Las Dos Lunas · Sant Rafel
Gardens, a pool and a traditional Ibizan farmhouse turned into a stage for large-format weddings. It's one of the few venues with room to spare for several formats on the same evening: photo booth, 360 platform and a message corner, without it feeling crowded.
Venues for weddings with lots of guests
Torre del Mar · Platja d'en Bossa
A beachfront hotel with generous event spaces. A good option when most of your guests travel from abroad and you'd like everyone staying in one place, with the party just steps from the room.
Villa Mercedes · Sant Antoni marina
A stately villa with a garden facing the harbour at Sant Antoni. A more town-based option with easy access for set-up, classic and elegant for weddings that don't want to travel too far.
Weddings in Formentera
If you're after the beach wedding at its purest, Formentera is hard to beat: ceremonies at Cala Saona, dinners in Es Pujols or Migjorn and parties under a sky with no city lights. The one thing to plan for is logistics. Every supplier travels by ferry from Ibiza, so you need to allow set-up time and coordinate carefully with the venue and your wedding planner. We do this regularly, and we bring all our equipment with its own lighting so we can set up right beside the sand.
What to consider when choosing
Season and date: the Ibiza wedding season runs from May to October, and Saturdays in June, July and September fill up well in advance. If you have a date, book the venue as early as you can.
International guests: think about language, transport from the airport and accommodation. A venue with its own hotel makes the logistics much simpler.
Supplier set-up: ask about access, power supply and set-up rules. Outdoor spaces and villas often need self-contained lighting and sound.
The experience, not just the venue: the venue sets the frame, but what your guests remember is the moments. That's where the photo booth, the 360 platform or the audio guest book come in.
